Stepping Stones, Issue #011-Hyperbaric Chamber, Pleomorphism, 4-H February 27, 2007 |
| Greetings! I am so excited this month! I want to tell you all about the use of hyperbaric chambers for individuals with autism, the underlying cause of disease, and a fun educational group in this newsletter! You will have lots of interesting reading this month!
HYPERBARIC OXYGEN THERAPY We all need oxygen every minute of every day. However, we do not obtain nearly enough oxygen to function optimally. This lack of oxygen is particularly important for individuals with autism as well as many other conditions. You need plenty of oxygen for proper neurological functioning. Many individuals with autism show behavior problems with climate changes. They also show irritability, impatience, aggressiveness, anger, depression, anxiety, insomnia, forgetfulness, and concentration problems. These are all signs of oxygen deficiency! So, what can you do? You can use a hyperbaric oxygen chamber! Studies are showing that hyperbaric oxygen therapy can improve many of the signs and symptoms of autism. The researchers believe that oxygen-deprived cells are just idling in the brain of autistic individuals. When you feed these cells extra oxygen, you can revive them and improve brain function. The studies are very impressive! I have been using a hyperbaric chamber for my mandibular osteomyelitis (jaw bone infection) with great success. My son with Asperger’s Syndrome and ADHD has already experienced more calmness, less irritability and improved concentration after just a handful of treatments. I will be starting my daughters on hyperbaric therapy soon, too. I highly encourage you to find a hyperbaric chamber near you and try this autism therapy. If you live near Cincinnati, Ohio, you are welcome to visit my hyperbaric chamber! Hyperbaric oxygen therapy may be the best autism therapy for your child or for yourself!
UNDERLYING CAUSE OF DISEASE In my opinion, the underlying cause of disease involves pleomorphism which is the study of the many forms and the many functions of the microorganisms let routinely live within us. We are usually taught that our bodies are mostly sterile. However, researchers over one hundred years ago discovered that we all have microorganisms within us which can cause disease if we become too toxic, or too acidic, or lack adequate oxygen and nutrition. This theory is extremely important for individuals with autism since it explains many of the current isolated theories of autism, such as mercury and other heavy metal toxicity, environmental toxicity, yeast overgrowth syndrome, leaky gut syndrome, oxygen deficiency, occult virus infection, inflammation and free radical damage. An unhealthy body terrain creates conditions which allow these microorganisms to change from a benign form to a disease-producing form. In this virulent capacity, these microorganisms cause inflammation and free radicals and tissue oxygen deficiency which leads to further signs and symptoms. Eventually, you are diagnosed with a disease! I have been using pleomorphic products with phenomenal success for my jaw bone infection. I will start my kids on these products soon. I highly encourage you to read more about pleomorphism and the associated treatment !
4-H PROJECTS I have discovered that 4-H projects provide fantastic unit studies for homeschooling as well as learning opportunities for our kids on the autism spectrum! Specifically, they can learn more about their special interest while developing pertinent social skills. My daughter with PDD-NOS loves animals. They are her special interest. So, she will be working on guinea pig, chick embryology, chickens, and horseless horse projects. My son with Asperger’s Syndrome has a special interest in medieval and military history. So, one of his projects will involve making a backyard cannon and learning the associated physics. The deadline in Ohio for joining a 4-H club is April 1. You can find a club near you by calling your extension office.
4-H projects and 4-H groups can be fun and educational for your child with high-functioning autism! Well, you have a lot of material to learn about this month! I hope that you have found this information useful. Feel free to pass this newsletter along to others in its entirety so that it can help others, too. Also, make sure to check out
