What is the Christian Perspective
on Autism?

There are many issues related to the Christian perspective on autism – spiritual warfare, suffering, personal growth, gifts, discipline, faith, and more.

This topic is huge!

And controversial!

In fact, I have hesitated for years to include this topic on this website.

However, I have recently received several emails and phone calls from visitors about this subject. After much prayer, I feel that I am now supposed to address the spiritual issues related to autism.

After all, this is a Christian website about autism!

Please keep in mind that the answers to these questions are based on my personal experience and personal reflection. I am not a pastor, and I do not play one on TV either.

I encourage you to be like the Bereans and to search scripture daily to find your own answers to these questions. I also encourage you to pray about these issues in your life.

I hope these pages bless you as you read them as much as they blessed me as I wrote them.

Is this spiritual warfare? Is my child possessed?

Why do Christians get sick? Why does my child have autism?
