Echinacea
Supports Your Immune System
Detoxifies Your Lymphatic System

Echinacea (coneflower) has antibiotic and antiviral properties.

Much research has been performed with this herb to confirm its effectiveness.

The main function of echinacea is a combination of purifier and infection fighter.

It improves lymphatic filtration and drainage in order to clear toxins from your body. And it strengthens the immune system to eliminate viruses and bacteria.

Your body is tricked into believing that the polysaccharides in this herb are bacteria. Your immune system then increases the production of white blood cells to fight the perceived infection.

Coneflower also increases the production of interferon to combat viruses. It blocks virus receptors of cell surfaces which prevent viruses from infecting the cell.

Echinacea also stimulates macrophage activity to destroy toxins, foreign particles and other debris.

This herb can be used for most all internal and external infections and for most all acute or chronic infections. Therefore, it is even beneficial for illnesses that have been linked to occult infections, such as autism, fibromyalgia, and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Coneflower also has anti-inflammatory properties. It can reduce inflammation with its cortisone-like activity. It can then support wound healing.

Research has even shown that echinacea can suppress tumor growth.

This herb has no toxic effects. However, do not use it if you are allergic to daisies since a cross reaction is possible.

Also, you should never use any immune stimulant if you have any autoimmune diseases since it may theoretically worsen these conditions. However, no research documents any potential problems in this case.

Start taking this herb as soon as you feel that you are getting sick. It can halt the spread and shorten the course of the infection. Adults should take small doses of 1-2 capsules frequently, such as every 1-2 hours. Children should take 5-10 drops periodically. Then, taper as you start feeling better.

I keep a bottle in my desk and in the kitchen so that it is readily available. Usually I only need a dose or two since I get started when I feel the first symptom. I have not actually been sick for many years since I have been using this herb in this manner!

You can also take this herb to prevent infection by using 1-2 capsules daily for several weeks. Children should take 5-10 drops daily. Some sources recommend that you stop for 1 week after a few weeks of administration to rest your immune system and to prevent adaptation.

I would recommend a dose of 2-3 capsules three times per day for adults or 10-20 drops three times per day for children to fight occult infections.
