You need oxygen. You would die within a few minutes without oxygen. Oxygen is vital to your life. Most of us think that we get enough oxygen. After all, we can breathe anytime we want! But, actually, most of us do not get nearly enough oxygen to maintain or improve health. Creation scientists believe that our air used to contain significantly higher concentrations of oxygen at a higher atmospheric pressure than it currently possesses now. God had created the perfect atmosphere for our bodies 6000 years ago! The first generations used to live hundreds of years. Methuselah lived to the ripe old age of 930 years. Perhaps the extra oxygen and higher atmospheric pressure helped their health and longevity! So, how do you know if you are oxygen deficient? Oxygen deficiency includes, but is not limited to, the following signs and symptoms.
It is especially interesting to note that cancer does not grow in well-oxygenated environments. Anaerobic bacteria, viruses and fungi also can not survive in an abundance of oxygen. Microorganisms become more virulent when you are lacking oxygen. These signs and symptoms of oxygen deficiency are exacerbated by the following factors.
So, what can you possibly do about oxygen deficiency? Proper breathing techniques are helpful, but not enough. You also need to use a hyperbaric chamber!
A hyperbaric oxygen chamber is a safe and effective way to deliver more oxygen to your cells with higher pressure so that your body can better heal itself and maintain health. A mild hyperbaric chamber compresses filtered ambient air from 1 atm to 1.3 atm which is the equivalent to about 11 feet below sea level. This 30% pressure increase allows for more oxygen to be dissolved into the water throughout your entire body according to Henry’s Law of Physics. Your cells are then more easily able to access this dissolved oxygen. Hyperbaric therapy helps to create the optimal terrain within your body so that your body can perform essential cell processes efficiently. Healthy cells make a healthy body! Hyperbaric therapy itself is not new. The first chamber was developed in 1662. Hyperbaric chambers have been used successfully in a multitude of medical conditions since 1834. Most every doctor knows that hyperbaric oxygen therapy works for many conditions! However, most chambers are only found in hospitals or medical centers and are only used for a few “approved” life-threatening conditions. In addition, treatment in these chambers is extremely expensive from $500 to $2500 per each session. Usually, medical insurance does not even pay for these treatments either. Now, advanced technology has provided FDA-approved mild hyperbaric chambers for use at home. The benefits of hyperbaric therapy are now available to many more people with various conditions for significantly lower cost. This is fantastic news! Now, anyone who desires optimal health and slower aging may benefit from hyperbaric therapy. In addition, people who live and work in the preceding high risk environments, and athletes who strive for peak performance and rapid recovery may also be helped with hyperbaric therapy. In addition, anyone with any of the following medical conditions as well as other medical conditions may notice considerable improvement with the higher tissue oxygen concentrations resulting from hyperbaric therapy.
Much research has been performed throughout the centuries and worldwide about the effectiveness of hyperbaric chambers for a multitude of conditions. I am impressed with the wealth of excellent scientific studies about hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The Hyperbaric Therapy Center has accumulated many scientific articles about hyperbaric therapy for a wide variety of disorders. Make sure to check out these articles for more information about hyperbaric therapy. Mild hyperbaric chambers are extremely safe. There is no risk of oxygen toxicity since filtered ambient air is used. In addition, the client can easily depressurize the chamber and get out quickly if necessary. Communication is facilitated with walkie talkies. No dangerous side effects have been reported with mild hyperbaric chambers. However, you may notice some ear discomfort when the chamber is pressurized. You may experience a mild detoxification reaction after the initial sessions while your body removes toxins which is a good thing! Most people notice increased energy and improved sense of well-being with each session. In addition, each person may notice various improvements to your particular medical problems. Personally, I discovered that my muscle tension decreased, the quality of my sleep improved, and the throbbing from my chronic mandibular osteomyelitis (jaw bone infection) reduced. I used the

hyperbaric chamber for my treatments. This chamber is absolutely HUGE!
A parent may accompany their child into the chamber and both can comfortably receive a treatment simultaneously! I am prone to claustrophobia, but experienced absolutely none in this chamber. I can even reach my arms straight out in front of me while supine and can even sit up while in the chamber. Many other physicians successfully use this same chamber in their practice.
Most non-hospitalized individuals can easily and effectively use this hyperbaric chamber. However, you should not use hyperbaric oxygen therapy if you have oxygen-dependent emphysema (COPD) since the extra oxygen can suppress your respiratory drive. In addition, you should not use the chamber if you currently have a pneumothorax or a history of spontaneous pneumothorax. Certain medications, such as doxorubicin, bleomycin, cis-platinum, disulfiram, and mafenide acetate, should not be used while you are receiving hyperbaric treatments. At this time, I recommend avoidance of hyperbaric therapy if you are pregnant since not enough research has been performed yet. We would need to be cautious if you have Eustachian tube dysfunction and have an upper respiratory infection with difficulty equalizing ear pressure. Nicotine causes constriction of blood flow and diminishes the effectiveness of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Therefore, you should discontinue the use of all nicotine products. You may not enter the chamber if you are inebriated or wearing perfume/cologne. Generally, if you are allowed to fly in an airplane, then you most likely can use the hyperbaric chamber! By now you have decided that you can benefit from use of a hyperbaric chamber and that you are a good candidate for hyperbaric therapy. You now want to know what to expect during a session. You should come in loose, warm, comfortable, and cozy clothing. I would not recommend tight constricting clothing. You may bring books, CD player with headphones, or portable DVD player with headphones. You may also bring a favorite lap blanket since it can be a bit cool. Children can bring quiet toys. When you arrive for your session, you will see the deflated chamber which appears smaller than the inflated chamber. However, within one or two minutes, the chamber is completely inflated. You will be able to sit upright or lie supine comfortably. The main window is enormous and three other windows are strategically placed so that you never feel enclosed. Yet you also maintain privacy. Also, you are in complete control since you can depressurize the chamber and get out on your own if needed. During pressurization you are encouraged to equalize pressure in your ears by yawning, swallowing, turning your head from side-to-side, or massaging the area below the ears and behind the jaw. You can also close your mouth and pinch your nose, and then blow outward.
Each session lasts about 60 minutes. You will not feel the higher air pressure at all. You may actually feel much lighter. During your session you can read, sleep, pray, listen to music with headphones, play quiet handheld games, or watch movies on a portable DVD player. I like to read the Bible or do my Bible study. My children will do their homeschooling work and/or The Listening Program during their sessions. You may want to know how many sessions you will need. Well, that is up to you! The minimum number of sessions that are recommended would be about ten with at least 2-3 sessions per week. Then, you can decide how much benefit you are experiencing and whether to continue with the therapy for a longer duration. Many people decide to reduce the frequency to one time per week or one time per month for maintenance therapy. Hyperbaric therapy is best performed with whole food supplementation and antioxidant supplementation and any adjunctive therapies as needed in order to obtain the optimal results. I hope you can find a similar hyperbaric chamber near you! Return HOME
