Omega 3 Fish Oil Is A Good Essential Fatty Acid Necessary For Proper Functioning Of Your Body.
Omega 3 fish oil with EPA and DHA has so many benefits for everyone.
The main role of these good fats is to reduce inflammation throughout your body.
Inflammation is a main cause of all sorts of diseases including but not limited to coronary heart disease, stroke, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis, Crohn’s, arthritis, allergies, asthma, cancers, and much more.
In fact, inflammation may even be the basis of all diseases.
Therefore, it is vital that we keep inflammation under control naturally. Artificially reducing inflammation with medications like steroids, NSAIDS, and others only leads to further problems.
The good news is that Omega 3 fish oil can reduce inflammation naturally as God originally designed your body.
These essential fatty acids have other benefits as well.
They are used by every cell in you body to create optimal cell wall that are just the right flexibility and permeability. Cell walls that are made from bad fats are stiff. They do not allow nutrients to get in and wastes to get out as needed.
In particular, these essential oils are used by neurons for proper brain communication These oils are extremely important for individuals with autism, ADHD, and any other neurological conditions.
The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (January 2000) stated that flax oil (ALA) from plants is not converted to the Omega 3 fats in ADHD children. Furthermore, Dr. Mercola says that “Omega 3 fish oil is probably the most important nutrient for a child with ADHD.” I believe that if it is important for ADHD, then it is also important for autism.
Fish oil is also used as an effective treatment for depression. Omega 3 fatty acids have been found to increase serotonin levels.
These essential fatty acids actually reduce triglyceride levels. The American Heart Association now recommends Omega 3 fish oil for everyone, and especially for individuals with documented coronary heart disease.
DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) are the two essential Omega 3 fatty acids. Research has shown that EPA can suppress tumor growth and that DHA can induce tumor death. Thus, omega 3 fish oil is beneficial for individuals with cancer and for individuals who want to avoid cancer. That just about includes everyone!
These essential fatty acids also help various skin conditions, insulin resistance and hormonal fluctuations.
Your body can not make Omega 3 fatty acids. Instead, you must ingest these good fats.
Good sources of Omega 3 fish oil are fish, of course! In particular, salmon, tuna, mackerel, and herring have high amounts of these good fatty acids. Omega 3 is also found in flax seeds, pumpkin seeds sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, walnuts, and some dark green leafy vegetables, such as kale, mustard greens, and collard greens.
Most of us do not get nearly enough Omega 3 fatty acids in our diet. Supplementation is a must for most of us.
You need to make sure that your source of Omega 3 fish oil is free from all mercury and other impurities.
Some people tend to burp up their Omega 3 supplement. You should take your essential fatty acids at the beginning of your meals so that the food keeps the oil down.
Also, you should choose a product which also contains lemon oil. The lemon oil reduces this burping sensation. Food enzymes can also help digest the good fats.
The usual dose of Omega 3 fish oil for adults is about 1000 mg spread throughout the day. However, the dose for lowering triglycerides is about 3000 mg each day. Children around 50 pounds should take about 500 mg daily.
